The Kings Croft Hotel in Pontefract was chosen by Jennifer and Graham as their wedding venue. It’s an awesome place, and this was my second time shooting there. It has a great vibe. Shooting in the pavilion was a first for me this time round. The venue itself has wonderful visas and the outdoor ceremony was accompanied by fair weather without a drop of rain from start to finish.
The ceremony was absolutely wonderful. Lots of smiles and laughing, especially when the best man dropped the grooms ring! No this wasn’t set up! Simply great live acoustic music and songs through the ceremony. Iv’e got a lot of time and respect for wedding bands. They are masters at their work, and very professional.
Onward to group shots and family photos in the grounds after the lovely ceremony. Jennifer had specified that she wasn’t a huge lover of the staged and posed shots, and preferred a more fly-on-the-wall approach to the day, so I kept things casual for the group shots so as not to make anyone uncomfortable.
All in all this was a perfect day and I was honored to capture it for Jennifer and Graham. For more information regarding the Venue look here The Kings Croft
